Established in 1966 the Gymnastics Center has had years of athletic achievements as well as outstanding coaches. ConocoPhillips Gymnastics  is proud of our 40 years of gymnastics training and of all of our Gymnastics Staff.  We have 21 gymnastics instructors with all different backgrounds and training .

 

 

 

Staff:

 

Sam Barto, Gymnastics Director and Team Coach, has been a gymnastics instructor for over 30 years. He has a B.S. in Physical Education and has had a number of Elite and National Champion Gymnasts. He was awarded the Shannon Miller award in 2003 for his outstanding contributions in Oklahoma Gymnastics.

Susie Barto, Team Coach, has also been coaching gymnastics for over 30 years. She has a B.A, in Education and a Masters Degree in Administration. She is the USA Gymnastics State Chairman  and also a Shannon Miller Award recipient for the state of Oklahoma

Lorrie Bertolet, Team Coach, has been a gymnastics instructor for 22 years. She was a member of the Philips 66 gymnastics team for 10 years and a former member of the Bartlesville Ballet Company. Lorrie has a B.S. in Physical Education and a number of State Championship gymnast and teams.

Courtney Baker, Class Curriculum and Development, has been involved in gymnastics for 22 years. She was a gymnast for Phillips 66 for 12 years and a gymnastics and cheerleading instructor for 10 years. She has a B.A. in Advertising and coached two National Champion Cheerleading squads in Oklahoma City.

Rachel Nelson, Team Coach, has been a gymnastics instructor for 11 years. She is a former level 9 gymnast and a collegiate gymnast for Oshkosh University. She has coached at Lake Owen Gymnastic training camp for seven summers and has had two state champion gymnastics teams.

Under such strong leadership and experience, our instructors and students are trained by the best.
